A: Travelstar is a Social Networking site geared specifically to those of us who love to travel and share our experiences with others. Connect with friends and family worldwide, post trip specific photo albums, and a blog list of reviews of all your favorite destinations. And best of all, meet people just like you, and set up an amazing adventure with an entire group! Imagine the possibilities!

Q: How do I sign up and begin using Travelstar?

A: Signing up for Travelstar is as easy and free!

Step 1: Register. Travelstar is a free! Simply fill in your name, username, email, and password then your ready to go!

Step 2: Upload a profile picture if you like so everyone will know who you are!

Step 3: Begin using Travelstar by posting Photos, Reviews, searching Travel Guides, finding Travel Deals, inviting friends, Discuss topics in the Forum, and joining Trip Groups!

Q: What is myMap?

A: This your very own world map you can customize with "where you have been", "where you have lived" and "where you want to go". You can write reviews and "insider tips" so others will learn from your knowledge.

Editing your personal profile

Q: What if I need to make some changes to my profile?

A: log in, go to "my profile", and then click on "update my preferences".

Q: Can I change my profile picture?

A: Yes! Go to "my profile" and click on "upload my profile picture".

Q: How do I block strangers from viewing my profile or sending me messages?

A: Being a Travelstar member means that you're going to gain some popularity! But sometimes you don't want to feel like the paparazzi is chasing you! You can easily block strangers from sending you messages or from viewing your profile by editing your preferences. Just log in, go to "my profile", click on "edit preferences", and then select "privacy". From here you can determine who can view your profile and send you messages.

Q: Why don't I ever receive special announcements from Travelstar?

A: All you have to do is go to "my profile", click on "edit profile", and then scroll down to select "receive special announcements from Travelstar". You'll soon be receiving news about site enhancements and specials deals!

Q: I always log in to my account to find that I have a new friend requests or messages. Can I set it up so that I receive email notifications when I first get requests or messages?

A: Sure you can! Just go to "my profile", click on "edit profile", then scroll down and select "receive email notifications". This way you will be alerted every time someone sends you a message.
